Source A: Solid State Recorder --- SP-CMC-10 > SP-SPSB-1 (w/bass roll-off) set @107Hz> Edirol R-09 (line in, 24bit/48KHz wav)
Transfer: USB > T-Racks 24 > CDWave > Satan's little helper > FLAC
Location: mic config: in mesh hat 335th fighter squadron, 6 feet high. location: right side of stage, centered on DC! 10 feet from rail
Taper: 4intool
Notes: There seems to be a bit more crowd noise in this recording than in other sources, even with comparable microphones. Of course this is nothing the taper could've done to prevent (I'm pretty sure) but instances such as during RI2 that someone yells "go Danny" detracts from the feeling. I commend the taper for not sending thoughts of ill-will to the heathens screaming. Even if for a moment. The good bit is that the vocals are relatively clear & the bass is mixed fairly well. If anything, it seems like Adam's guitar can overpower the other instruments at times throughout the source. I wonder if this had something to do with location or basically just a source info issue? Even though the crowd around the taper apparently still has gills, this is a fine recording. Just with the high quality recordings floating around during this era, well, sometimes things the taper cannot control such as talkers does take something away from an otherwise beautiful capture.

Source B: Solid State Recorder --- Core Sound Binaurals > Core Sound Battery Box (w/ bass roll-off) > M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96(@16/44.1)
Transfer: Wave > FLAC
Taper: jrust
Notes - Taper: Distortion due to wrong settings.
Notes - Galen: When the bass is deep that is when distortion occurs. During the quiet parts, not too bad & sounds fairly good. However, when you have other sources available without distortion & one with distortion, well, the one in question gets down-graded to for collectors only. Not much more to really say. Take a listen to the sample for yourself.
