Notes:
Interesting. The last show before the events of 09.11.01. I think, maybe, years from now people may think of this show as almost prophetic - maybe not. Very nice recording & performance is tight. Taper must have been sitting in the arena-floor as the sound is very full. A very pleasant 2001 recording with clear vocals, crisp bass, clean guitars and great-sounding drums. Semi-different setlist for this part of the touring-era with the addition of Undertow + Eulogy. All in all, this is definitely an enjoyable recording that captures Tool better than many other attempts. Definitely the best of the 2 sources known to exist. There is already a CD version of this in the trading pool thus I will not do another rip.

Notes:
Decent recording; quite nice actually. Took a long time for more than one version (of this show) to surface. Really nice sound, very full & quite crisp. A little bit of crowd noise permeates more than source As does but this is a minimal concern...also, it seems that this recording is closer than the other. Captures Tool right before the 'eve of WWIII'...this is the last show before the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Great performance - Tool was performing well at this show. Right at the beginning of the first intro, a 1/2 second digital noise is heard --- then, the recording begins. This is one of those recordings where you close your eyes and, in some way, it is like you are there....

Maynardism:
"It seems like, in big cities like Los Angeles, New York, London, Chicago, San Francisco, it seems like its more apparent that the uh, the bad guys are in those town. You know, the energy suckers, the vampires. This next song goes out to those of you who are the artists who are trying to keep it alive. And we'd like to say to all you energy suckers, you industry people, you liars, you thieves, you cock-suckers, you aliens, you vampires; why don't you go eat a big bad of salty dicks...and just let us create. Thank you."
