2007.12.04 - Everett, WA, USA @ Everett Events Center
Source A: Solid State Recorder -- Sound Pros SP-CMC-4U Audio Technica U853's > XLR - ISI-1 >
M-Audio Microtrack
Transfer: Soundforge 9.0 Pro (Fade in fade out only)-> CDWave for track splits->FLAC Frontend.
Taper: Basshead
Gen: 0 from Master
Notes - Taper: Well this was my third show on the tour, and though I enjoyed it, it was tough to compete with the Bonnaroo show from June. Maynard was low in the mix, I am guessing its due to his viral infection of the throat that caused them to cancel the previous night. Overall solid rockin set, all three players just are so tight they do waver a bit. Between the avalanche of sound and the crazy videos, Tool shows are always a lot of fun. Wear earplugs! Other than the drunk that pushed me, the drunk that fell on my girl than called her a bitch and a whore, it was actually a friendlier than average Tool show. LOL.. Sound quality is great, better than other shows I have done at the Everett Event Center.
Notes - Galen: Mercy me this is a fine audience recording. The audience is basically under the layer of Tool; there are a few minor issues but nothing terrible by any means. The band, as a whole, floats on a cloud above the conversations of audience members that in other sources are only too apparent. Grade A.
Maynardism: "We'd like to dedicate this next song to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Runner-Up; Paul D'Amour. Formerly of Seattle."

Source B: Unknown CSB > Sony MD Recording
Notes: Some songs associated with this source are pretty enjoyable, some are splattered with crowd participation the taper is either a party or privy to… Lots of crowd. - whew during Stinfist sticks out. - “whoooooohhh”. The taper is close to the speakers and that is why the omni capsules are able to handle the SPL effectively. If you listen to this source next to another CSB > MD recording lets say any MT-877 from the 2002 era this would give you a decent roadmap to what this source sounds like.
