Source A: Hi-Mini Disc --- Dynamic Audio Cardioids > DA-120F > Sony MZ-NH700Taper:      Thommi
Gen:         0 from Master

Notes:
Regarding audio quality, there is a lot of high-level clarity in this recording which, for that reason, kind of makes this recording stand out a little bit. The vocals are well-mixed (or apparent on this source), guitar is clean, the cymbals clash however the bass is somewhat flat. The lower-end of the frequencies sound almost non-existent at times. Although many recordings suffer from way too much bass, this source does not have that issue - not a complete bad thing. That said, the end result sounds somewhat synthetic, less-natural than it actually sounded at the performance. There are several instances of microphone movement/phasing as well as some crowd noise. However, I quite enjoy this source as the taper did a fine job. No real complaints. Standard performance for this leg of touring although it seems Tool could be somewhat bored with 'being there'. All in all, a good recording of a somewhat lackluster performance.

Maynardism:
"Sorry, I'm not familiar with German customs - is it considered rude if I scratch my ass in front of you? I guess I already know the answer, I've watched some of you out there living in their feces. But sometimes, feces is good.".
