Notes:
Clearly taped from some distance away this source features a strong amount of crowd chatter, wind noise, a dull frequency range & some strange wind-swishing-noises. This is pervasive throughout. Do not get me wrong this is not a terrible recording by any means but it certainly will not win any awards for recording of the year. This is, if nothing else, an average to slightly below average recording of a performance that differs from others due to the addition of Serj from SOAD during Sober. Although I thoroughly support Tool when they experiment on-stage the participation of Serj as he more or less chants or howls on stage left me scratching my head as to what the point was. It also reaffirms what I've long heard about the live on-stage-affect of SOAD. For a novelty sort of thing, yeah, Sober is cool but that's as far as I would be able to take my support. In sum, slightly below average recording of a slightly above average performance.

Maynardism:
"Thank you Serj. I'm a little winded - would you mind finishing up the rest of the set for me. I have some hotel porn to get back to. Times a wasting."

Notes by Filmer:
Recorded in the mosh pit, rough as guts but did what I could. Recording provided by taper 12/5/2020. This replaces audio that previously circulated as an audio rip from an unknown video source.

Notes by Galen:
Lots of movement. Sound is a bit harsh, apparently an audio rip of this was floating around but there really was no need for that as the result was/is not great. A good deal of crowd. The taper was clearly not in an ideal location and it is evident in this recording. Truth be told, this filmer was ballsy and did 200% better job than I ever could. That said, this would arguably be best left for collectors.
