Notes:
The source info, the story. The master reportedly sold his MD's to Omar for whatever fee. It is debatable if the taper simply copied MD's onto other MD's, copied CD or WAV to MD's or really sent his masters. Only one person really knows & he reports that he sent his masters. I do not know why anyone would get rid of their master recordings. But that is me. As such, there are at least 2 different rips of this show with different track times floating around.
Notes: Yeah, this is what I like. A very nice sounding Front Of Stack recording. Crowd is very, very minimal & the sound is just everywhere in your ear drums. You hear little nuances and things during, between & after songs that you normally would not hear in other taping positions. The only down thing about this particular recording is that it was taped in mono for some damn reason... if it was taped in normal mode & the taper simply switched the discs I think this could be one of the better 2002 recordings. But, you can hear some limitations of the mono. Regardless, this was a good performance & the actual product is nice. My personal favorite of this taper's recordings. It is EQ'd to hell though...and the person who transferred it to CD did not EQ it. So, how is that possible? Hmm... acquired master? Hmm... Do you think people would take a recording, put it onto a PC in one track, EQ it or not EQ it then sell it to someone else? Hmm...

Maynardism:
"Good evening. Tallahassee. We would like to sarcastically & reluctantly extend a hand of congratulations to Jeb. Surely all those donations from the KKK, NAMBLA & Hooters have paid off. This is Tallahassee right? I'm not convinced."

Source B: Mini Disc --- MDR-QR33L/S > Sony MZR-55

Notes:
This is my favorite recording which Adam has yet produced. Although the equipment is the same as the various other shows, this seems to have a different feel to the sound quality, performance & overall enjoyment than some of the other shows. The 'microphone' limitations are noticeable but are not that bad. With a little stereo EQ, this is really pleasant to jam out to. Tool was on this night...they played my favorite of the 2002 setlists very nicely this night. Hearing this recording, it sort of makes you remember why you like them in the first place...at least it does for me. Also, this night features one of the best performances of Third Eye from this leg of the tour.
