Notes: Repetative setlist? I was quite amazed by the audio quality of this recording; really, really good for a Mini DV or Hi8, for that matter. But, it does have slight high-end distortion. Above average for the type of recorder but less quality, sound-wise, than a decent MD has. Tool was pretty good this night but perhaps not groundbreaking. A gig. The Video is rather clear but has a tiny bit fuzzy. Relatively shake-free, this has some very nice close-ups and is not too shabby. Some focus on the screens but more on the band members. Not the best show but certainly not the worst regarding quality & focus.

Notes: Well this recording is not entirely all that shabby, really. However, for those interested in a perfectly clean, complete (missing some of The Grudge), non-VHS sourced recording this may not be entirely for you. If you can get over the aforementioned facts then you may be surprised as not only is the audio rather clean but there are some excellent close-ups even though this was filmed from the bowl-area, center-left. Unfortunately the specifics of the camera or definitive lineage are unknown due to the passage of time. Most notably, this source has some of the best screen images from this era of touring. My favorite occurrence of this is during The Patient; I think I saw something I missed all those years ago (the smoke intermixing with the naked, mirror-imaged women). Interesting stuff. This review was created in September 2007; more than 5 years after the fact. To my recollection, this is one of the few new sources (video) to come onto the trade scene in over a year. Nice work to those (that person) that unearthed this.
