Notes: The recording seems a bit distant, a tad messy in sound with some swirling and has somewhat of a dark feel to it. At least to me, you may have a completely different reaction. If you compare this to the overwhelming majority of recordings from this era... well, there's some stiff, sturdy recordings from this mini tour. This is certainly a bad recording by any stretch of the imagination, it is solid, complete and definitely an accurate capture of this particular performance. Unsure where this was recorded, suppose it could be near the board but maybe more likely somewhere in the bowl as there is a little smear of sound levels reverberating off of the walls. On the other hand, it is actually quite cool that a recording of this performance surfaced. At the very least it shows initiative upon the taper, whoever you are. And for that, we salute you.
