Notes: Hmm. I really, honestly, enjoyed watching this recording. Filmed from the back-center-right (perhaps on the bowl area), the recorder managed to get some fantastic close-ups of the band & has some noteworthy ‘shots’ of the stage throughout the recording. There are several instances where the camera gets a bit shaky but I doubt I could do any better especially filming Tool. Some classic video of MJK making a classic anti-smoking metaphor via the gas mask over his face. There do seem to be some random cuts between songs as well; I first noticed it between Stinkfist & 46&2. The audio is barely brickwalled by very high SPL & very low bass. It’s not terrible but it is pervasive, throughout. In my opinion the high quality of the video outweighs debatable audio issues – hey, this is a video after all. Some audiophiles, however, may have a problem with the issue of flutter (i.e.: listen/watch Lateralus). All in all though, a really interesting video that is a definite contribution to the live history of Tool.
