Notes:
Although this is not a spectacularly varied performance, the setlist order is interesting when you compare it with other performances from this era of touring. That said, the recording is of relative above average quality. There are audible limitations of the equipment used but this is really not detrimental to experiencing an all around nice capture of Tool. Levels are clean, sharp & nice. Would have of course been better, comparably, if one were to have used a DAT but is still wortwhile to lsiten to. At least on some occasions. There are known MP3 & SHN recordings floating around as well as there are 1st Gen CD transfers, like this one, around as well. This has also been confused with being from Phil's recording.

Notes:
This recording has been rather hard to come by for reasons unknown to me. Not sure why, sometimes, things just are like that. As it is, this recording is best left for collector's as the bass overloads constantly throughout the recording. There is honestly not all that much to say. There are much more challenging recordings to sit through but this is still difficult to make it all the way through... Also, tracks 3-6 on my version skip like hell, not sure if that is from the MD master or a burn issue... awaiting verification.
Taper's Notes: Anyway, I must really stress that the quality of the Canberra 29.04.02 show is not good. I just completely failed on that show. It's for this reason that I usually trade with people for Sydney 24.04 and just throw in Canberra if they want it. It's up to you, perhaps you might want to do Sydney and Canberra and another show from the selection below for the two you've offered. I don't know. Just please be aware that I am warning you that Canberra is a poor recording...
