2006.10.03 - Manchester, NH, USA @ Verizon Wireless Center
Source A: Mini Disc --- Sony ECM-DS70P > Sony MZ-R70
Location: Floor Stage Left (Justin's side) in back parallel to mixing board.
Transfer: MD > Analog > Goldwave > WAV > FLAC
Taper: Cvisions
Notes - by Taper: Recorded by Cvisions. This is my first recording ever so SHUT UP. Due to a seemingly high recording volume and my inexperience in re-mastering, no editing has been done other than track marks. On a personal note, I forgot my MD at home so I insisted that we go back and get it. Arriving at the show late, missing ISIS, and paranoia setting in about security, I was almost ready to ditch the MD because I didn't want to miss the main show. As luck would have it, we got in and everything came off without a hitch. However, for reasons unknown, after changing tapes, the recording of the "encore" came out like ASS. Therefore, unless an alternate source is provided, contributions are welcome.
Notes - by Galen: Am pretty sure this recording was recorded at LP2 as well. The compression is obvious as well. Yes, the limitations of the microphones are clear, evident & apparent. The crowd is loud, the sound is more muddy than anything else & although this is not bad it is not all that good. However, I *wish* my first taping experience, as this taper claims is his first, came out this well. So, much respect to the taper. However it is unclear how many people would feel the desire or inclination to listen to this source much, if any, on repeat.

Source B: Solid State Recorder --- CSB/120 > -20dB Attenuator Cable > Microtrack 24/96 > MP3 128k
Transfer: MP3
Taper: Erixxx
Notes - by Galen (10/2006): All known copies of this source are sourced from MP3. Accurate source information is NOT known. To make a short story short, someone posted a link to this source to the cu.org forum & would give no further information about it. As such, this is listed here so collector's only can know that this source does exist in this compressed form. Too bad; this is a fairly good recording.

Source C: RadioShack 33-3013 > Sony MZ-RH10
Notes: This source is the only recording I, for one, have seen with this Radioshack microphone. A Radioshack microphone which is newer generation than the Lavalier 100 I used in the late 1990s until 2001 when I began to upgrade. Surprisingly, this recording is decent. Reminds me of a Sony ECM 717 capture. There is no distortion or brickwall. The unknown taper got quite lucky with the position because based on the sound if he/she/they were any closer this would be a distorted and for collectors only recording; which this is not.
