Notes - by Taper: Very Some wind and wish wash and 2 very annoying girls right behind me screaming in unison and their dumbass boyfriend that kept yellin to hear 6 degrees lol.Anyway it is what it is an outdoor recording from a ways back and lots of aud noise.
Notes - by Galen: Believe it or not the above description is quite accurate. The skinny: solid recording but there are several instances of almost overwhelming. The taper was NOT kidding when he describes the absolute morons next to him. A couple quotes: "magic" & "yeahhhhhh, Maynard!!" And it just gets worse. However, to the taper's credit, he resisted the urge to either piss on the people next to him or throw beer on them; definitely something that has crossed my mind from time to time at shows where people are completely oblivious to their own ignorance. However the recording itself is very clean & is definitely worth a listen. It can feel very much like you were "there" when you hear some dude say "magic"...

Maynardism:
"Donno whazza gass - Good Evening.
"Maynardism: "We'll be back in the begining of the new year...scouts only."

Notes - by Taper:
Very windy night in a crap venue. I was far right of stage in front of speakers so it turned out pretty good. Only bad thing is during the first half of Stinkfist the lights went down and my mics weren't in my hat yet. So I fumbled around until I got them in. It's not bad but I was making my way back to my seat while putting the mics in. After that it was good to  go. Let me know what you think......amaro

Notes - by Galen: I have a habit of taking a listen to a new recording without intentionally keeping the source information in mind. It was a surprise when I realized that this was a CSB source. Good stuff. The taper, I think, got lucky. The bass is not too deep that you could dredg up Jimmy Hoffa's body but hits like a DPA microphone would; what I thought this was originally. Good job to the taper. The performance of this show... well... everyone was hoping for WFM>10K Days or something a little different. To read conflicting reviews about this show, check out TDN. At least Tool performed Opiate, the only song off of the EP that they performed during this leg of the tour. Note: This circulates in 24 bit so if you want to listen to it on CD, you have to downsample it. A pain in the ass but worth it.

Notes - by Galen:
Hands down one of the best, if not the best, audience recordings from this leg of the tour. Super-clean, up-front vocals mixed with guitar, bass & drum that leave you with the impression that you are not simply listening to a recording but are "there". Definitely a recording that will wear your CD player out... in a word: Superb. In fact, that is all I am going to say about it.
