Notes - Taper: JEMS master recording. Excellent sounding recording. Great show and great setlist. If you are a casual or hardcore Tool fan you won't want to miss this one.
Notes: A very pleasant recording featuring ample ambience, clarity of instruments and ability to pick up the subtleties of this particular performance. Many recordings seem to have a superficial sound with all sorts of high end with limited mid ranges, this, however, definitely picked up the entire spectrum of sound. It's not 'close' to the speakers and at times you can hear MJK's voice (almost) echo. Very 'live' recording with crowd only sometimes obtrusive in the mix, but only when it is actually appropriate such as between songs and not a conversation about what the person next to the taper had for lunch. Good job.
