1993.08.04 - Phoenix, AZ, USA @ Compton Terrace (Lollapalooza)
Main Stage
Source: Sound Board > Analog Cables > Cassette-M > DAT-2 @ 32 KHZ
Taper: Sound Engineer
Gen: DAT-2
Notes: Unlike other guest-spots during performances, this recording features not one but two guest vocals featuring the styling of Mr. Layne Staley of Alice In Chains on Sober + Opiate; rather interesting. The MP3 sample is somewhat like 'where's Waldo?' as 'Where's Layne Staley in the vocal mix of Sober'? It's not that hard to discern but cu.org is unsure about how well they harmonize together in this tune. Sounds a bit off. Regardless of subjectivity, this is still rather unique. There are not any technical issues with this recording and it is complete.
