Notes:
This is, in a sense, un-listen able. I took one for the team & checked it out completely but, damn, this is for severe collector's only. There is a very slight layer of tape hiss which most people won't be able to hear as the overwhelming bass just fills every possible spot decent sound could occur in. Taper moves his microphones around a bunch as well but, again, hard to make that over the 'crunch-crunch-crunch' just hits you. To say that the bass is hitting a brick-wall is to say too much. The first few minutes of the gig are very painful as the bass-hum kind of makes you want to immediately turn it off. Don't get me wrong, if you can get used to how it sounds & try & imagine how the gig would be & that this recording is like a guide to that feeling, then, sure - you may be able to handle it. It sounds to me like this taper was using some very cheap microphones, like Radio Shack & used a MD which resulted in this. It seem like Tool had a good show, I think. I suppose that it is recordings like this that were rare or hard to find for a while simply because they did not sound very good.

Maynardism: "Thank you very much for coming. This is the last song...It's all about L.A. falling in the ocean.
Tulsa is all about tornados, floods & corn-bake(?). I'll go out, catch a nice cola from Taco Bell. <<mumble,
mumble, mumble, mumble>>
it's all about you." <AEnima>
